BullBoss W, powerful PCP air rifle of bullboss type in a wooden stock. Excellently equipped, an excellent price to quality ratio! Recommended for shooting enthusiasts and tuners. Available in calibers: .177 (4.5 mm), .22 (5.5 mm), .25 (6.35 mm).
Bullpup - a firearm design mechanism known for moving the magazine and receiver behind the trigger mechanism. By using a stockless system, compact rifle dimensions were achieved, while maintaining a normal barrel length ensuring excellent accuracy and reduced recoil typical for this design.
Barrel - precision rifled barrel with a length of 23" (585 mm) Hatsan QE (QuietEnergy) fully covered with a metal jacket. Finished with an integral sound suppressor reducing the shot noise by -50%. This solution helps maintain maximum muzzle energy of pellets, which can be difficult with an optional suppressor. Hatsan designers addressed this problem, and the air rifle's balance also improved. The narrowing at the barrel's end, called a choke, improves grouping. The quality of the barrel's workmanship is one of the most important elements of any firearm/air rifle. It affects the rifle's accuracy, especially when shooting at long distances.
Power supply - replaceable compressed air tank with a capacity of 230 cc. Fully charged, it allows for 45 to 55 effective shots depending on the air rifle's caliber (data for the FAC* version). A built-in manometer allows monitoring the pressure in the tank, and thus its charge level. A rotating ring protects the charging inlet from damage. After emptying the compressed air, the empty cartridge can be replaced with a new, filled one (optional). This is an excellent solution for those who do not intend to take a PCP pump or a cylinder to the shooting range. 130 bar minimum operating pressure in the cartridge recommended by the manufacturer.
Important! The air pumped (transferred) into the air rifle should be dried, which prevents corrosion of the cartridge. Using the original HATSAN HAND PUMP equipped with a particulate filter (retaining moisture from the outside air) and an additional desiccant cartridge (retaining residual moisture) extends the life (tightness) of the cartridges.
Stock - bullpup type with a pistol grip, made of beech wood. The ambidextrous stock is finished with a ventilated rubber buttpad. Height-adjustable cheek piece. Thanks to the adjustment possibility, the process of configuring the air rifle according to one's own preferences and shooting style is quick and uncomplicated.
Mounting rail - double 11 mm / 22 mm, allows for mounting any optical sight. Called picatinny or Weaver, compliant with MIL-STD 1913 standard. Additional picatinny rail located on the forend grip.
Magazines - replaceable, rotary. Depending on the caliber, aluminum 10-shot (cal. 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm) or steel 9-shot (cal. 6.35 mm) are offered. Reloading is done using a two-stage side lever action located on the right side of the rifle. It cocks the "hammer", rotates the magazine, and introduces a new pellet into the barrel chamber. Two magazines are included.
Bluing - the receiver is blued in black, the remaining elements are covered with blue finish bluing.
Additional equipment - metal rotary sling swivels for attaching a weapon sling or suspension. Quick-Fill tip for quick filling of the cartridge with air using a Hatsan Hand Pump, technical cylinder or diving cylinder (300 bar).
The BullBoss W air rifle is equipped with solutions that improve comfort and safety of use:
-
Quattro Trigger, a 2-stage fully adjustable trigger mechanism. Adjustment of the length of the first stage (take-up) and the second stage of the trigger pull (Trigger Load). Adjustment of the hardness (sensitivity / resistance) of the trigger blade (Trigger Pull). It allows for individualization of the trigger characteristics to the user's requirements to ensure the best possible accuracy.
-
Anti-Double-Pellet Feed, a mechanism preventing more than one pellet from being loaded into the barrel.
-
Anti-Knock System®, a patented system preventing compressed air loss in case of mechanical impact on the air rifle.
-
Manual-automatic safety, protecting against unintentional firing, automatically activated when reloading the air rifle. Before firing, the safety must be pressed with the thumb.
For every air rifle not exceeding 17J, the manufacturer attaches a unique 17 J Energy Limit Certificate. The certificate is a document stating the compliance of the product's features, and thus the legality of the air rifle with Polish regulations. Air rifles legally imported into the Polish market have the website address www.sharg.pl engraved on them, the exclusive distributor of the Sharg company.
