Characteristics of the Hatsan Torpedo 105X air rifle
Barrel - precise, steel rifled barrel with a length of 17" (430 mm). The quality of the barrel's workmanship has a huge impact on accuracy, especially when shooting at long distances, and is one of the most important elements of any weapon.
Stock - ergonomic, adapted for both right and left-handed people. Made of durable black polymer. The rifling on the pistol grip and on the forearm provides a secure grip. The profiled Monte Carlo cheekpiece facilitates aiming and comfortable shooting. The stock is finished with a rubber butt plate that absorbs recoil energy after firing.
Mounting rail - the rifle is equipped with a double 11 and 22 mm picatinny mounting rail, allowing any optical sight to be mounted. Additionally, the rail has a recoil-absorbing stopper that prevents the optical sight from moving along the rail and becoming uncalibrated after firing.
Safety systems in Hatsan Torpedo 105X air rifle
The air rifle is equipped with a number of solutions that improve comfort and safety of use. The use of simple and durable solutions in Hatsan rifles means that they are highly reliable products that allow for long-term use. Durability is what Hatsan air rifles are famous for.
-
Quattro Trigger legendary 2-stage fully adjustable trigger mechanism. It allows for adjustment of the length of the first stage (take-up) and the second stage of the trigger (Trigger Load) as well as adjustment of the hardness (sensitivity / resistance) of the trigger (Trigger Pull). The process of adjusting the trigger characteristics according to individual preferences and shooting style to ensure the best accuracy is quick and straightforward.
-
SaS™ (Shock Absorber System) - a shock absorption system that reduces recoil. It absorbs vibrations produced during firing in spring air rifles. SaS™ extends the durability of the air rifle and reduces the adverse effect on the mounted optical sight.
- Bolt Action pellet loading system for maximum power
- Manual/automatic safety - located at the rear of the air rifle's cylinder chamber, it prevents an uncontrolled shot. This placement allows for intuitive thumb operation of the safety. Before firing, the safety must be pressed to release the trigger lock (each time the air rifle's spring is cocked, it automatically engages).
- Anti Bear-Trap Safety - prevents premature release of the spring while cocking, thus protecting the user from possible hand or finger injuries.
-
TruGlo - fiber optic sights with contrasting colors of glass fibers allow for precise shooting even in low light. The open front sight in red and rear sight in green with micro-adjustment capability in vertical and horizontal planes.
- Includes sling swivels and a bipod
