Vortex Gas Piston TYPE-6 HP (High Power), gas spring FAC for Hatsan Arms pneumatic pistols: MOD 25 SuperTact, MOD 25 SuperCharger with Quattro Trigger system. Restores maximum energy for a given spring-powered air rifle model to FAC version. The comfort of shooting with air rifles equipped with Vortex spring is incomparable to any other spring-powered air rifle available on the market.

Vortex Gas Piston®, patented innovative technology of gas spring designed for spring-powered air rifles using compressed air to power the piston. It is responsible for quieter and smoother operation and reduces recoil by eliminating most of the vibrations caused by heavy metal springs. It provides higher velocities and better accuracy due to maintaining identical technical parameters throughout the entire service life, thereby increasing the lifespan of the pneumatic system compared to a standard piston system with a metal spring, which tends to weaken causing a drop in velocity. There is also no risk of spring fatigue or breakage. In addition, pistols and rifles with gas pistons can remain cocked for a long time without fear of spring tension or damage to the air rifle.

Vortex TYPE-6 HP, allows conversion of a classic Hatsan spring-powered air rifle into a modern one equipped with a gas spring and maximum increase of FAC energy. Hatsan company has made it possible to modernize previously purchased air rifles by replacing the metal mainspring with a modern gas one.

The innovation of Vortex® Gas Piston technology allows:

• replacement of the metal mainspring with a gas spring in most Hatsan air rifles
• the possibility of smooth tuning, the spring has an opening allowing it to be pumped (max 150 bar) using a PCP cylinder or pump in the range from 7J to the maximum energy for a given spring-powered air rifle model.
• the use of compressed air for propulsion, not noble gases as in springs from other manufacturers (which increases the price of the spring, makes smooth tuning impossible).
