Vortex Gas Piston TYPE-5 HP, tuning kit with gas spring (gas piston) FAC (HP High Power). Designed for Hatsan airguns with an extended compression chamber: Torpedo 100X, Torpedo 105X with Quattro Trigger system. Restores maximum energy for a given spring airgun model to the FAC version. The comfort of shooting with airguns equipped with a Vortex spring is unparalleled with any other spring airgun available on the market. Fits Hatsan airgun clones, including Ranger carbines.

Vortex Gas Piston®, a patented innovative gas spring technology designed for spring airguns using compressed air to drive the gas piston. It is responsible for quieter and smoother operation and reduces recoil by eliminating most vibrations caused by heavy metal springs. It provides higher velocities and better accuracy by maintaining identical technical parameters throughout its entire lifespan, thereby increasing the lifespan of the pneumatic system compared to a standard piston system with a metal spring, which tends to weaken causing a drop in velocity. There is also no risk of spring fatigue or breakage. Additionally, pistols and carbines with a gas piston can remain cocked for a long time without fear of spring tension or airgun damage.

Vortex TYPE-5 HP, this kit allows you to convert a classic Hatsan spring airgun into a modern one equipped with a gas spring and maximize FAC energy. Hatsan has made it possible to upgrade previously purchased airguns by replacing the metal mainspring with a modern gas spring.

The innovation of Vortex® Gas Piston technology allows for:

• replacement of the metal mainspring with a gas spring in most Hatsan airguns
• possibility of smooth tuning, the spring has a hole allowing it to be refilled (max 150 bar) with a cylinder or PCP pump in the range from 7J to the maximum energy for a given spring airgun model.
• use of compressed air for propulsion, unlike springs from other manufacturers that use noble gases (which increases the price of the spring and makes smooth tuning impossible).
