Vortex Gas Piston TYPE-4 HP, tuning kit with gas spring (gas piston) FAC (HP High Power) for Hatsan air rifles: Dominator, Dominator Carbine with Quattro Trigger system. Restores maximum energy to the FAC version of a given spring-piston air rifle model. Vortex Gas Piston®, a patented innovative gas spring technology designed for spring-piston air rifles that uses compressed air to power the gas piston. It is responsible for quieter and smoother operation and reduces recoil by eliminating most vibrations caused by heavy metal springs. It provides higher velocities and better accuracy by maintaining identical technical parameters throughout its service life, thereby increasing the lifespan of the pneumatic system compared to a standard piston system with a metal spring, which tends to weaken causing a drop in velocity. There is also no risk of spring fatigue or breakage. Additionally, pistols and carbines with a gas piston can remain cocked for a long time without fear of spring tension or damage to the air rifle.

Vortex TYPE 4 HP, the kit allows you to convert a classic Hatsan spring-piston air rifle into a modern one equipped with a gas spring and maximize its FAC energy. Hatsan has made it possible to upgrade previously purchased air rifles by replacing the metal mainspring with a modern gas spring.

The innovativeness of Vortex® Gas Piston technology enables:

• replacement of the metal mainspring with a gas spring in most Hatsan air rifles
• the possibility of smooth tuning, the spring has an opening allowing it to be pumped up (max 150 bar) with a PCP cylinder or pump in the range from 7J to the maximum energy for a given spring-piston air rifle model.
• use of compressed air for propulsion, unlike in springs from other manufacturers where noble gases are used (which increases the price of the spring and prevents its smooth tuning).
