Gas spring Hatsan Vortex TYPE-2 HP

Vortex Gas Piston TYPE-2 HP, tuning kit with a FAC (HP High Power) gas spring for Hatsan air rifles with an extended compression chamber: MOD 125, MOD 125TH, MOD 125 Sniper, MOD 135 and Torpedo series: 150, 150TH, 155 all with the Quattro Trigger system. Restores maximum energy for a given spring-powered air rifle model to the FAC version. The shooting comfort with air rifles equipped with a Vortex spring is incomparable to any other spring-powered air rifle available on the market. Fits Hatsan air rifle clones, including Ranger carbines.

Vortex Gas Piston®, a patented, innovative gas spring technology designed for spring-powered air rifles using compressed air to drive the gas piston. It ensures quieter and smoother operation and reduces recoil by eliminating most vibrations caused by heavy metal springs. It provides higher velocities and better accuracy due to maintaining identical technical parameters throughout its entire lifespan, thereby increasing the durability of the pneumatic system compared to a standard piston system with a metal spring, which tends to weaken, causing a drop in velocity. There is also no risk of spring fatigue or breakage. Additionally, pistols and carbines with a gas piston can remain cocked for a long time without fear of spring tension or air rifle damage.

Vortex TYPE-2 HP, the kit allows converting a Hatsan classic spring-powered air rifle into a modern one equipped with a gas spring and maximizing FAC energy. Hatsan has made it possible to upgrade previously purchased air rifles by replacing the metal mainspring with a modern gas spring.

The innovation of Vortex® Gas Piston technology enables:

• replacing the metal mainspring with a gas spring in most Hatsan air rifles
• the possibility of smooth tuning; the spring has an opening allowing it to be refilled (max 150 bar) with a cylinder or PCP pump in the range from 7J to the maximum energy for a given spring-powered air rifle model.
• using compressed air for propulsion, not inert gases as in springs from other manufacturers (which increases the price of the spring and prevents its smooth tuning).
